A little piece of history now available from Melba Recordings

Smoke Encrypted Whispers

‘Ghosts of Boundary Street’, a miniature work for Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon, French Horn and Piano is a composition was what I consider to be the first real commission of my professional career. Influenced by the poem of the same name by Samuel Wagan-Watson, ‘Ghosts of Boundary Street’ (or ‘Song of City Ghosts’ as I fondly refer to it) was commissioned and performed by The Southern Cross Soloists back in 2008 as part of their Music and Words Series. My composition, along with the stunning compositions of 22 other Brisbane composers is now available from Melba Recordings here.
